Academic Search Complete is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Academic Search Complete is a great entry point for lower-level undergraduate students.

MasterFILE Complete

Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1922. MINABS Online  MINABS Online provides a unique research tool for researchers working in the fields of mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, environmental mineralogy, and related topics. The database – which contains more than 120,000 abstracts of papers published between 1982 and 2008 – originated from the paper journal Mineralogical Abstracts, a publication of the Mineralogical Society of Great Britain & Ireland. No new abstracts were added to the database after 2008.

Geologic Guidebooks of North America Database   Consists of references to geologic field trip guidebooks of North America (United States, Canada, Mexico). Most of the guidebooks cited are from the period 1940-the present.

Midwest Regional Carbon Initiative and Related Projects Research Publications Database  Contains peer-reviewed research literature, conference materials, and reports. These documents represent an important contribution to the science of carbon sequestration. The bibliographic record of these documents is made available here and may include links to downloadable full-text documents.

Scientific Ocean Drilling Database  The Scientific Ocean Drilling Database contains bibliographic records related to Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP), Ocean Drilling Program (ODP), Integrated Ocean Drilling Program, and International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) research spanning from 1969 to the present.About 30% of the source records are from publications produced by the drilling programs (e.g., ODP Proceedings series), and 70% are from serial publications, abstracts, conference proceedings, maps, etc.
