Proctored Testing Service

RPCC students MUST sign up for Proctored Testing appointments online via the RPCC Proctored Testing site on Moodle. Non-RPCC students should email the Library at LRC@rpcc.edu for appointment information.

Library Services provides proctoring for several kinds of tests including Make-up Exams, Online Course Exams, Special Needs Testing, and Credit by Examination. Appointments are required.

Instructions for Students:

In order to take a proctored test administered by Library Services staff, STUDENTS MUST:

• Make an appointment at least one day prior to taking the proctored test by
  scheduling on the RPCC Proctored Testing site in Moodle
• Show up at your appointed time - No tests will be started early or more than 10 minutes late
• Provide a valid picture ID to a Library Services employee
• Identify the instructor and course for the test
• Sign the Proctored Testing Form provided by Library Services

Any test not taken within one week of being dropped off by an instructor will be shredded.


Instructors are responsible for providing the LRC with all materials and instructions needed for the student to take a proctored exam. If an exam is not available for the student, it is the student's responsibility to contact his/her instructor to inquire about the status of making the test available.

After the student completes an exam, the student must give the test to a Library Services employee.

Room C118 has 12 seats available for each appointment time.

During the Spring 2012 semester, the Library will be open on Saturdays, March 10th and 17th for Midterm Exams, and Saturdays, April 28th and May 5th for Final Exams. Saturday appointment times are 9:00am and 11:30am. Check the RPCC Proctored Testing site in Moodle for appointment availability.
