Proctored Testing Service

Library Services provides proctoring for several kinds of tests including Make-up Exams, Online Course Exams, Special Needs Testing, and Credit by Examination. Appointments are required.

Instructions for Students:

In order to take a proctored test administered by Library Services staff, STUDENTS MUST:

• Make an appointment at least one day prior to taking the proctored test (LRC@rpcc.edu)
• Show up at your appointed time - No tests will be started early or more than 20 minutes late.
• Provide a valid picture ID to a Library Services employee
• Identify the instructor and course for the test
• Sign the Proctored Testing Form provided by Library Services

Instructors are responsible for providing the LRC with all materials and instructions needed for the student to take a proctored exam. If an exam is not available for the student, it is the student's responsibility to contact his/her instructor to inquire about the status of making the test available.

After the student completes an exam, the student must give the test to a Library Services employee.

Regular Proctored Testing Schedule Spring 2010:

NOTE: Testing will not be available every day and time due to campus and/or Library scheduled events. Students MUST make an appointment to take a Proctored Test when the service is available.

Room C118 has 25 seats available for each appointment time. Room C119/LRC has 5 seats available for each appointment time.

Saturday proctored testing will be available only during midterm testing and for final exam week.

During the spring 2010 semester, the Library will be open on Saturday, March 6th and Saturday, March 13th for mid-term exams and Saturday, May 8th and Saturday, May 15th for final exams. Appointment times are 9:00am and 11:00am. Contact Library Services for appointment availability.
