    ONLINE RESOURCES:

    • ChemEd DL, the Chemical Education Digital Library, is a rich collection of resources for the study of chemistry. It also includes "Periodic Table Live," an interactive periodic table that provides detailed information and multi-media on the elements.
    • chemsoc timeline, from the Royal Society of Chemistry in Great Britain, this is an interactive timeline of events in the history of science, starting with the Big Bang and beyond. It also provides links to other relevant resources. It is available in either Flash or html formats.
    • comPADRE, Physics and Astronomy Education Communities, is a section of the National Science Digital Library which offers a wealth of information and resources on astronomy and physics.
    • MetEd, Meteorology Education and Training, is sponsored by NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and was developed to provide educational resources on meteorology. This also includes instructional modules with quizzes. Some resources will require registration, but it's free.
    • NASA offers extensive collections of information, images, and other resources. NASA's Earth Observatory offers images, news, articles and more related to the earth, its features and environment. NASA's Solar System Exploration also provides extensive information and resources, including video, audio and interactive resources.
    • Neave Planetarium, allows visitors to view the stars from any location at any time of day or night, any date. It also provides data on planets, stars and constellations - just hover over the objects. To see the sky from your location, you may allow the site to save your location by clicking "Set to my location", and then view the sky from home in the Planetarium, rain or shine, day or night.
    • The Science Channel Videos: Space School: Solar System offers several free videos on the Solar System. The Science Channel is from the Discovery Channel network.
    • spaceweather.com "News and information about the Sun-Earth environment." Find information about solar activity, near-earth objects, and more!
    • USGS, The U. S. Geological Survey website provides information and resources related to other sciences in addition to geology.
